[W126 Coupe] Hard Start Problem

My 1991 560 SEC sometimes has difficulty starting.
It starts immediately, but will not continue to run. It usually stops
immediately, although it may run for a second or two before stopping. It
will do this several times and then it will run OK.
Anyone have any ideas about where I should start looking for the problem?
