Thanks Steve.
There are some Nokian sellers here in Central New York. The WRs sound
like a good candidate for the sedan, since it needs new tires this year.
The SEC isn't going to be out in the winter around here. It's on a
"low-sodium diet" ; )

How is durability with the Nokians? How many miles have you put into
them?

Hi, Robin,
I've put 32,000 to 40,000+ miles on three sets of the Nokian WR on both
my 300E and my 300CE. They have silicon particles imbedded in the tread
rubber. Acts like hundreds of little studs. Heavily siped, which provide
a lot of wet and slippery surface traction, they are also relatively
quiet for a traction tire. They will absolutely astound you at high
speed on snow-packed and slippery highways. The Finns know weather
tires.
I've also gotten 25,000 to 30,000+ miles on two sets of the high
performance summer Nokian NRZi, which also excel in the rain.
Granted, my C124 is several hundred pounds lighter than your C126. So
your mileage would probably be lower.
Nokians are not cheap and are sometimes hard to find, although the Tire
Factory chain carries them in the western states.
