GlacierI have a Garmin Nuvi 350 that is a marvelous piece of equipment, as, I'm sure, is the Tom-Tom. FYI, I had a radar detector stuck on the windshield while I lived in CA but since it was suction cup mounted above the rear view mirror, in the extra tinted portion of the windshield, it wasn't visible from outside the car. I added a power jack to the overhead light right there and that eliminated a power cord dropping down.
That interior rear view mirror has a strong mount into the car and I'd bet that a mount clamped to the mirror post would work just fine. Again, power it up into the overhead light.

I am planning to buy a Tom Tom 930 because of the voice command and the choice of multi language system.
But what is the best way to have it on the dashboard? In California we are not allowed to connect it to the wind shield.
Any of you with recommended experience?
