[W126 Coupe] hey guys got my years wrong

 Many of my friends (8 to be exact) owned these cars, mostly AMG models and had trouble from brand new.. They got tired of the car spending so much time in service even being covered by warranty they unloaded them. Some went on to return their cars as lemons. The mechanics say the 2005 is slightly better. 
I love the way these CL500 and CL55s look but after hearing the horror stories and confirming with an insider at my local Benz dealer, I decided on the W126, which by the way I just drove to and from the Monterey weekend. Drove really nice on Carmel Valley Road, neutral cornering and slight understeer starting near the limit..
IMHO, the new coupes are beautiful but too big.
