I'd say wait. I'm an all Mac law office since 1989 and really enjoy
the myriad benefits of Apple hardware and software, but it seems to
me that you've already got everything about the way you want it on
your current phone, so...if it ain't broke...

I have the current 3G iPhone, which replaced my old Moto Razr. I
needed a new phone b/c the Moto was dying of old age. I'll probably
never know all the benefits of this iPhone, but battery life is
definitely an issue.

So, I'd say that as long as your current set-up is working just keep
using it. When you *need* to replace, maybe the battery issues will
be resolved and you'll be glad you waited.
