Likely your auxiliary fan is not coming on while the car is idling. Check fuse/relay and fan motor connections/condition.

Subject: [W126 Coupe] AC Problem

Need help on this my AC used to work really well ... It still does fine while the car is moving
But once I stop for a few min. Like a traffic stop it does not do the job it get kinda warm
Any clue what is causing this .... (I converted over to the 134 stuff last year and recharged it)
I'm in Arizona and it's not even that hot yet and I can't get cooled off .... LOL

 ciao, Frank
