I always pay by credit card only thru Pay Pal on Ebay. If a problem comes up
regarding the seller refusing to make things right, I send the item back the
cheapest way and file a bill back thru my credit card company( forget filing
a claim thru Pay Pal).Yes, I get stuck with the shipping cost to return the
item but I get the price I paid seller including his shipping cost which in
some cases are more than the cost of the item. All you have to show your
credit card company is a reason that you returned the item and a shipping
receipt.Pay Pal then has to work it out with the seller and you have a credit to your
card immediately.Pay Pal hates this method but they agree with the terms and
conditions laid out by the credit card company. Resolution comes later
showing the issue is resolved in your favor. It has worked !00% of the time for
me. Please note: if you file a claim thru your credit card co. as suggested
and Pay Pal concurrently they(pay pal) will stop processing your claim because
they know what the outcome will be in your favor no matter what if you follow
the above method.
Regards,
John K.
