[W126 Coupe] MBCOUPES Digest, Vol 36, Issue 31

Hi,

These discussions about the SEC airbag had reminded me of a project that 
I have been trying to do for the past 3 years. This is about replacing 
my airbag because the rubber covering had already split and has a big 
crack across the front. I tried buying the replacement bags through eBay 
and won bids for two used airbags. However, the rubber covering on the 
these is also cracked.

Is there a better or cheaper way to solve my problem without buying a 
new airbag from the Mercedes dealer?

Any assistance or suggestion will be highly appreciated.
