  1) pull out ashtray, remove insert
  2) remove 2 screws holding ashtray surround in place
  3) pull ashtry unit out and remove wiring connection
  4) pull coin try holder towards front of car and out 
  5) slide wood surround forward so clips release and pull up
  6) disconnect wiring connections and take surround out
  7) replace swith
  8) reinstall in reverse order
