[W126 Coupe] Rims

I think my e-mail did not get thru.
I try again with a question.
One of my friends want to replace the rims under her 1990 560 SEC with the 8 hole 16" stock rims from a 1995 500 sl. Can this be done? What about the bolt type and length?
