[W126 Coupe] 1983 Flasher Relay

The flasher unit is directly behind the speedo instrument pod, 1" x 1" x 2"h black relay 000 821 09 63, just to the right of the steering column.

What should be the location of my flasher relay on a 1983 500sec?  I'm about to pull out my radio to search and I have heard I may have to remove the cluster assembly housing the air conditioning control.   Any help will greatly be appreciated !!  Thank you in advance to all who respond.
