Greetings list!

I always enjoy the threads of conversation on this site.

Almost everything about our SEC's I love - the builders and designers were
given the funds to do what they wanted seemingly without restraint - so rare
in automotive reality today by a big producer. Something about owning the
best car at that time in the world.

Thoughts, ideas give us all additional enjoyment from our cars that we all
have in common.

Cultural boundaries are bridged in taking interest with the way other owners
see these machines.

One of the differences that our SEC global community of SEC owners has is
where we get to use these wonderful cars.

Just a quick picture of what the downunder drivers have.

It's a big place with tough road regulations, we have speed cameras, aerial
surveillance, mobile radars, red light cameras and a police/community
culture that will fine you a $100 for exceeding the speed regulation speed
by as little as 3kmh. I have little doubt that that the Australian road
safety mentality is a positive plan as our fatalities and injuries are
reflected in the statistics.

I have always been very hesitant about changing anything on my car just
because of a personal interest in keeping things as they were planned -
although reading comments and ideas from Dick and Satish has me thinking of
buying a second car to have some different fun with.

The Australian delivered machine comes with the tall differential ratio - a
couple of months ago a had a rush of blood and booted the car to 240kmh -
silent and effortless, man that was way fun! I backed off before she was
finished so I will never know where it would have ended.

Hey Jonathan, I want a shorter differencial - a bolt on solution to use some
of that grunt around town - hanging up my low flying goggles.

You will know what can be bolted on without too much drama and what steps
would have to be taken to adjust the speed gauge to read true.

Can you put together a post package to fit?

Best regards to all!
