Rusty is correct -- by VIN it is a 450SEL 6.9.  Any VIN starting with  
116036 is a 1975-1979 6.9. The serial number of this car is 118,  
meaning it was the 118th 6.9 made -- which would put it as being  
produced in very late 1974 as a 1975 model.

The dashboard and gauges, and center console, are definitely W116.

That is definitely a 6.9 engine as well. It's an M100.985. You can  
tell in about 1 second by looking at the radial-piston hydraulic pump  
on the front of the engine, and by the windshield washer bottle.
