I just want others to have as much fun as me, although my wife thinks it
should be otherwise. I sent the pics to Ed Chin who said he will host
them. I'll be sending drawings out soon. The fuel control is fairly
simple. I have a limit switch connected to the throttle (which is the
big blue thing to the left of the distributor - you'll see in the
pictures). When at ~1/2 throttle it energizes a relay. The relay
disconnects the computer control to the EHA and connects the EHA to a
knob (potentiometer) by the shifter which I can use to adjust the
enrichment (you can really crank it up in the winter). Very simple and
very effective. When back under 1/2 throttle the computer takes over
again. One word of caution is to make sure you don't send too much
current to the EHA - a simple resistor in series takes care of that.
It's definitely not plug and play - you have to be willing to cut wires,
but it's not that bad if you have some electrical aptitude. I'll be
posting a sketch of this with the parts.

You don't want to run rich too long - it will foul up the plugs. But
short sprints have not affected my plugs in 1 year. Also prolonged
enrichment can hurt the cat I've been told, but I just passed emissions
tests with extremely low emissions, so I don't see evidence of that
either.

Stay tuned.

Alex, You might be the 'fountain of youth' with your kind offering of
information. I feel like a teen already with a pocket full of speeding
tickets. I look foward to my project. I have particular interest in your
fuel control solution which I think differs from the 'EHA/turn-screw'
approach. Thanks! Jim Alexander
