Mono-valve core replacement is as you have seen & described simple
enough. Your fogging is one of two things and unrelated to mono-valve.
On you acc pushbutton are you seeing fog with the solid up/down button
depressed? Or are you seeing it with ac on in either pushbutton mode?
If you answer q1 yes, try the button immediately to the right and see if
it clears up the amount of condensation you are seeing on the windscreen
some. If you answer Q#2 yes then it may be your vacuum element has
failed for the center vent/defrost element. See the other posting for
more on all that good stuff.
