[W126 Coupe] Mercedes On-the Road with problems

Audi ("Auto Union") was the combination of four different marques:
DKW, Horch, Wanderer, and Audi. The four rings of the Audi logo
represent each marque.
Here are just a couple of the photos I have from my visit last year
to the brand-new Audi Museum in Zwickau, Germany. This was the
traditional home of Audi until the Communists took over East Germany
at the end of the war, and Audi was moved to Ingolstadt in Bavaria.
The Communists produced the Trabant there until 1991. Since then, VW
has done some Passat manufacturing on the site. It's quite an
extensive old complex of brick factory buildings, straight out of the
early 20th Century.
This is one of the best car museums I've ever been to. I heartily
recommend this museum. A friendly, elderly east German curator
befriended me when I was there, and let me get in a couple of the
cars and took my photograph with them. He didn't speak a single word
of English, so all communication was in German (I'm fairly fluent).
The local accent there in the area was amusing.
Enjoy!
Cheers,
Gerry
