[W126 Coupe] No Heat / Air Movement on Driver Side Footwell

Just to clarify, there are 5 vacuum actuators and all should be
checked. It's very common to have the rubber diaphragms fail. You can
rebuild actuators using George Murphy's kits. (approx $50-60 US). You
can run the MB manual ACC output test and/or take a MightyVac and
disconnect one line at at time from the vacuum switching valve and test
by viewing each actuator as you apply vacuum (passenger console side
carpet/knee bolster removed to get at the switching valve). Two vac
lines are looped to manage the two actuators on the fresh air/recirc
door. This is easily accessed and viewed on your 86 by removing the
glove box insert.
