Gerry,
You shouldn't feel the need to apologize or keep things to yourself. I think
the "blamers" owe you an apology for typing without thinking. It's probably
a symptom of email groups and blogging that people rip off quick notes
without thought and sometimes without reading the actual content they are
responding to.
I don't think that kind of nastiness has been the norm on this list. I've
been subscribed since the beginning. Occasionally we get some nasties
posting junk, but they don't stick around for long.
It would be a shame if you avoided posting because of a couple of rude
people.
