[W126 Coupe] AMG Exhaust Tips for SEC?

Your friendly MB dealership will be glad to sell you some AMG tips at an appropriate price of course. Not sure if AMG tips differ, but I looked at OEM MB tips (Either stainless or chrome double wall) on late model CL and S class models but they won't work on W126 cars unless you have a 90 degree elbow turn down at the end of your pipe. The MB tips had a slot cut out of the top that accepted the turned  down end of the OEM pipe.

I went with OEM Jaguar tips for the supercharged models (XKS???) since they are stainless steel double wall construction, angle cut, and fit over the W126 2.25" exhaust pipes perfectly and are secured with a couple of set screws. Plus, they look cool coming out the back of an SEC!

  but very good looking exhaust tips are readily available.
  I removed the center resonators from my 1991 560 SEC and installed a Remus
  exhaust - I really like the sound.
