[W126 Coupe] supercharger kit 560 SEC

  This looks exactly like the kit on my car that I bought from Jim Nowak who had developed it from an original idea by Steve Lemberg ( hugely fascinating, knowledgeable man ), who had given up on it because he basically did`nt think it was up to scratch. As far as the ebay advert is concerned, caveat emptor, with a centrifugal blower nothing aside from the normal happens until approx 3,000 revs, then it becomes fun !! Vis value for money, the blower setup cost roughly U.S. $6,000.00 (kit + pump + MSD + methanol cooling), the first gear start whizzbang cost U.S. $300.00 and provides ten times the (normally rather childish) fun. I`m really not trying to rain on anyones parade if they are planning on a blower, all I`m saying is that if I was starting again to build a quick SEC on a budget I`d spend money in the following order: i) FGS, ii) Speedier diff. iii) Freeflowing/louder exhaust, iv) MSD sparking system, v) Really good stereo system, vi) Supercharger setup. If I was
 richer than Croesus I would take my car to Dr. Satish and say something along the lines of; "Excuse me sir, please would you build me a car like yours ?"  Having said all that, Mike Ramays "Frankenbenz" sounds arrestingly creamy ( although way beyond my mechanelectrical capabilities ).
