Rich,
A modification job like that would be better left to the professionals.
I did a mix and match on my car.
I have a 1990 SEC and had the standard North American bumpers which I can't
stand.
After looking for a long time for a set of Series 2 Euro bumpers, and the
correct AMG bits for them, I finally gave up.
I bought a NOS AMG front spoiler from RennTech. The only problem was that it
was for an SE/L. :-(
No worries, I buy a Series 1 SEC Euro bumper on eBay. Won't work.
Then I buy a front and rear Series 1 Euro bumper from an SE/L and hand them
over to my body shop.
He took the AMG spoiler and fitted it to the SE/L bumper skin. Then he took
the mounting brackets and chrome parts from the SEC bumper and fitted the
parts to the SE/L.
Presto, with a few panels of stainless steel mesh applied strategically, and
I have Euro front and rear bumpers with AMG bits. :-)
