This should answer your question. Note that the coupe badge is 35mm from
left edge.

Wow!  Someone who wants to "re-badge" their SEC, as opposed to those of us
who have (or tried to) debadged them...!

 

I don't have the original badging on my SEC anymore so unfortunately I can't
help with the measurements.  I bought the newer badging and tried to be a
little unique/strange by putting SEC560 on with no underline.

Last weekend I bought a 560 SEC, smoke silver with mushroom hide. First
registered Feb 1989 (build Nov 1988). 

Unfortunately it's missing its boot badge... A new one is only £12 from the
local stealership, but I need to know the exact location on the boot. 

Having looked at pictures, it seems that the 'C' (in SEC) is located on a
vertical line above the inside edge of the tailamp... is this correct ?

Secondly, how many mm is the underscore (the chrome underline, that the
letters sit upon) above the top of the chrome boot strip ?

I'm looking for precise measurements.
