[W126 Coupe] SEC Summer Meet

Markus,

 

Have you noticed that we SEC owners are the "red headed step children of the
Mercedes Club of America?"  Why is it that we are ignored in Star Magazine?
Why do they not notice that they have not only ruined the name Mercedes
(post 1991) by using the computer chip to replace some of the finest
machining and engineering ever made by humans?

 

I know I am starting a fight but as an ex-owner of 27 SEC's and a current
owner of only 4- 560SEC's I know in my bones the world is not only blind but
dumber than a box of rocks or a bag of hammers when they pay $25K for a
Chevy, Ford, Toyota etc. POS vs. investing less in the elegance, grace and
power of an SEC.

 

I hope you all know that there are many SEC's in the southwestern United
States with no rust and are stunningly beautiful and the owners would love
to show them off.  Is it not possible to have an SEC meet in .. lets say Las
Vegas?

Agreed. I have a list of things I need to do on the car anyway. If we are
talking weekends, possibilities for me right now are:

July 14, 15
July 28, 29
August 18 19
August 25 26

Satish, Brent....anyone else...how about you guys?
