I agree. There is only one way to accurately check automatic tranny fluid.
Engine running, in DRIVE, after a drive. !!
The system needs to be at running temperature. There are other vehicles want
it HOT in Park.
Fluid Hot vs cold is important because auto xmission fluid expands greatly
due to temp.
