Including the torque converter I put in 8 qts. When I check the dip stick it shows it being a little low but not much. I got on the freeway yesterday and purposly kept my foot on the gas and it got up to 70 MPH before it kicked into 4th gear. I'll check the oil level again.

It could be either. Check it on the dipstick. Both are very very bad. How much did you put in? IIRC it takes about 8qts.

I recently serviced my 420SEL's transmission, including getting the oil out of the torque converter and a new filter. Ever since then the gears don't change unless I let off the gas for a quick moment. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? Is it not enough oil or too much? I had no problem before the service. Thanks,Camran 90 560SEC 91 420SEL
It’s tax season, make sure to follow these few simple tips Check it out!
