[W126 Coupe] Brake Pads

HI Guys.
What brake pads are most of you using., the ones on the car I just bought are squeeling and put out some dust, but mostly noising and their pretty thick still. My mechanic say he tell me it's me pulling up before seeing me just by the noise. M/B's or Textar ?
