If you are in a warm climate, let the cover sit in the direct sun for a
couple of hours and try. It should work with the inside out roll on
method. I have also used a cornstarch to allow the leather to slide
against itself or to slide along the foam padding. Some upholsterers,
may have a pillow press which squeezes or compresses the padded armrest
and then allows the cover to be applied without tearing the seams. An
auto trim shop is the safest way considering this cover probably did not
come cheap. Good luck.
