Exactly my point: you should move to here. With the home foreclosure
rate (it's gotten to almost 20%), you can pick up houses dirt cheap too.
Coming from DC, I know what kind of thing you're talking about
(well...in DC the roads are at least planned ok, but the people are like
the people in Boston). Every time I go home I think to myself "sheesh
this place is awful," and every time I go back to NC I think to myself
"Wow, people are actually paying attention! And yielding the left lane!"
Here's a way to test the people in your area. Leave your high beams on.
If every person flashes you to tell you to turn them off, you're in an
area where they actually care about driving. If not a single person
flashes you over the course of the entire night, you are either
somewhere in the mid-Atlantic, Northeast, or West coast.
