[W126 Coupe] Squealing N3 module

Hi Rick:
I am stopping at an MB dealership late tomorrow to pick up an air guide
housing (the big rubber lower half of the air volume meter) for my 86
300SE. I can usually bring an extra cup of coffee along and ask to see
the senior tech that is expert on 107, 123, 124, 126 etc. and see if he
has ever opened up an ECU. I'd be curious if there was in fact a small
fan in there. Just looked at a spare I have and it's got some sort of
vent or inlet on it.
