Thanks for the link Robert!
Sorry, but I have to, but: What kind of an ass-clown crashes a
Bugatti Veyron into an Astra
in the rain??
There is no car on the planet more tricked out with safety and
stability electronics than
this monster, so I think one can pretty much rule out conventional
reasons such as slipping
in the wet :-) And from the description, it sounds quite clear that
the Veyron caused the accident
(no mention of any other cars, etc). So this person was obviously
driving like crazy. In the rain.
In a 1000hp, near-priceless car. I remember how difficult an AC
Cobra, with 300hp, was to drive
on a wet road - it immediately commanded respect. My 560SEC's
(primitive, first generation) ASR Traction Control
has also instantly saved my car's rear from stepping out many times
on wet roads during acceleration.
Now how on earth do you crash a Veyron without doing something really
silly?
A single wheel on that car costs substantially more than the Astra it
crashed into...
ayyyeeeeee.....
:-)
