I had the same problem and did all the same things you mention also to no avail. I just recently replaced all 8 fuel injectors, seals, holders and air tubes. The car now fires up immediately and is smooth as a baby's rear end. The old fuel injectors were clogged and leaking badly.

Subject: [W126 Coupe] Shaky Start!!
I have a 1990 560SEC (52K miles) and a 1991 420SEL (110K miles), when I
start both cars the the engine shakes for a few seconds (maybe 15 seconds)
before it settles down and rides fine. I have replaced the ignition wires,
plugs, rotor and cap to no avail. I am not sure if this is caused by fuel
injector drain or what.
Any advice as to how to solve this problem; or, any advice as to alternative
way of starting the car to avoid the shakes (like turning on the key for a
few seconds before crancking the engine)? Any help is appreciated.
Camran
