[W126 Coupe] Rims @ tires for 89 560 sec dilema

Hey guys,got a good deal on 89 560 , black in black, bought it for resale, 
but after fixing a couples of things like a/c , brake pads, fun clutch, 
etc,etc,etc and driving it for 900 miles, I decide to keep it as a spare 
car( drives so smooth is worth every penny).110k original miles and service 
up to date .
I have 15 inch crome rims with michellin 265 -50-15,will like to put some 
deep lip rims (amg or similar),and some tires without sacrifying the "ride" 
, meaning comfort ,would it be better also to change shocks and springs? My 
mechanic said , suspension is good, just replaced to arms in front 
suspension,what are your reccomendations ?
