Here's a pic of what I did.  My car was never gonna be a show car, so  
I didn't feel compelled to keep it original.  I yanked the parcel  
boxes (which are available if anyone wants them--light grey).  I cut  
a piece of MDF to hold two 6.5" coaxials and cut a hole to the trunk;  
there's a subwoofer in a box in the truck.  (Never got around to  
building a more custom solution b/4 getting rid of this car.)

Don't have a final pic, either; after what you see here, I covered  
the whole thing in light grey speaker cloth.  Was not perfect, but  
not really noticeable to the casual observer, and sounded good.  The  
orig speaker holes were left empty with the covers on them.
