Ozium is the official line for the best way to deoderize. I have my own
method though, but I know every place my brother has done his rotations
in so far uses Ozium. My way is to get some Wurth HVAC system cleaner,
spray it in all the vents, fill up the air in the car with it, close the
door and leave for 10 minutes. Come back, fill up the intake for the
HVAC system, fill the vents again, turn on the vent on high, close the
door, go back to the intake for the HVAC and just spray spray spray,
leave the HVAC running for about 5 minutes, come back, shut everything,
again fill the air in the car with the stuff, close the door, next time
you drive leave the windows open, odor should be gone.

I own a 1979 SLC which I bought in 1985. I was a smoker car before
bought it. Nothing helps to get rid of the odor, air cleaners make it
worse. I should mention though, my car has velour interior.
