[W126 Coupe] amazing properties of machine screws, and speaker size question

Found out the most amazing thing about a machine screw today.    
Apparently you can use one to hold up your stereo amplifier, drill it  
right into the gas tank, and it won't leak AT ALL for years.    
YEARS.   Until the next owner decides to remove the amplifier with a  
nearly full tank of gas in the car.

Then, no matter what, that little screw won't keep gas in the tank at  
all any more, not even for the 35 minutes it takes to find a siphon  
hose, frantically pour out your spare cans of gas into all your other  
vehicles and get 10 gallons out of your now stinky car.

Please don't try this at home, kids....  just take my word for it.


On another note,  what size after-market speakers fit in the factory  
locations? will 6 1/2 or 6 3/4 round fit on the back deck?  what fits  
in the dash?
