[W126 Coupe] Groaning / Creaking Front End

I had my R/F lower ball joint replaced today as my 1989 560SEC was groaning.
Groaning has now ceased.  The part was CDN$45 + 2.8 hrs labour.  The rubber
housing had cracked and allowed water to enter.  I drove it hard for over
1,000 km after the groaning started....no wear.
