If the car is cosmetically and mechanically perfect that sounds like a fair price. There are a lot of rats out there that are like the 10 till 2 bar crowd; they look good from far, but far from good. Most cars are reasonable cosmetically, though I found many show wear in the front seats and have a lot of cracked wood. The big fault with most is no service history or a skimpy service history where the owner doesn't preform the scheduled maintenances on the car. The average Sunday paper car buyer won't pay that, but someone who knows the car will. I looked at 32 coupes before finding mine.
