[W126 Coupe] SLs are quite well built too !

  Hi one and all, a fortnight ago last Friday my SL was attacked by an overly ambitious small Vauxhall (GM ), I was only doing about thirty when a young kid pulled onto the road at precisely the wrong moment and went into immediate high speed reverse after the coming together, luckily there were no pedestrians nearby and neither of us were properly hurt, however the way the 129 just swatted the Vauxhall out of the way, rather as one would an annoying fly, was verging on the hilarious, I`ve tried to include a picture of the damage to my car, I could`nt take a picture of his as it was scattered all over the road and pavement (sidewalk). Obviously I`m not the first, and sadly won`t be the last person to have a bump in a properly built Merc, however for the second time now (last one was an SEC) I can put my hand on my heart and say "thanks old girl,(I`m really sorry I called you boring on this forum recently) " .
