[W126 Coupe] Sunroof Maintenance

Thank you so much Terry, this is a wonderful mailing list.

I'm a little bit confused though, I really don't understand the part  
about the two
centering pins in 7730.3 ("make the 2 centering pins if not already  
available") - do I actually need to produce the
indicated object? Out of what? Wood? Or out of iron rod/tube? (and,  
are the dimensions in millimeters?)

And why is special tool 124 589 00 37 00 required to "preload  
sunroof" - what does that mean?

I'm fairly handy, and I'm sure I could figure it out once I take it  
all apart, but the service manual
is pretty confusing... could anybody clarify this a bit?
