My sunroof  has dipped about half an inch in one rear corner when viewed

externally, but it does not leak.A couple of pieces of L shaped very thin

metal dropped out of it inside the car. They look like shims or the corners


of photo frames. I am now afraid to open the roof. Some said the interior

roof lining has to be removed to effect a repair. Has anyone had some

experience?

 My sunroof is inoperable. It will not open or tilt.
 I have the maint./repair procedure and find it useless.
  I really miss the roof window and have tried to repair it in accordance
with the procedure and just by reasonable deduction.
  It tries to open so I know the cable is good. There is a horizontal bar
which runs side to side that is not straight across. It is tilted to where
the right end is closer to the front of the car
than the left end.
I can't figure it out and I believe I need to remove the headliner in order
to get to all the parts.
