[W126 Coupe] Original wheels for 1990 560SEC

When I recently bought my 1990 560 SEC, it had (and has) 18" AMG wheels front and back, and has a lowered front end. All was done right, and it drives and runs like a dream.
However, it had lived in Southern Cal and NV before coming east to VA a few years ago. Now that it is in NJ, I want to prepare for next Winter and the snow comes.
The spare tire is, I believe, one of the original wheels that came with the car before the AMG wheels were applied. It has a series if raised letters and numbers embossed in several groups in the openings (15 openings in all) that read and are grouped as follows:ETA BETA, 7JX15H2, ET25,KBA41127, and MARTA 1.
On the assumption that the spare was original, I have purchased 4 wheels, all of which have the same lettering, and I got 2 of them off a 1990 500 SEL.
However, in inspecting several other 560 SECs and other 1990 500 series cars, NONE of the other cars seem to have wheels with the raised lettering indicated above.
My question is whether the embossed wheels are correct and useable with snow tires for my car, or did I screw it up and get incorrect or unusable wheels.
Illumination on the subject would be appreciated, including where the best place to find the info may be found if none of you have come across this problem.
Thanks.
