Basically all the Bosch sensors have the same insides and the same
threads. The Mustang sensor was popular because it had fairly long
leads, making it easier to splice other connectors onto it. About $32 at
your local McParts store.

The "4-wire" sensors use the same element as the "2-wire," but add a
heater. The element cannot sense the air/fuel ratio until it is hot, and
pre-heating the element let that happen sooner, with beneficial results
to the pollution ratings.

As far as I know a genuine "wide-band" sensor has a gentler transition
slope of the Output Voltage versus Input Air/Fuel Ratio curve:

it easier to measure A/F ratios, whereas the standard sensor is almost a
switch, one voltage for rich and another for lean with a very narrow
transition zone.
