[W126 Coupe] accumulator question

These don't fail often but there's a chance that the ones on the junkyard
dog might be acceptable for a short time. I personally would grab them as
they're easy to replace and it would give my car a decent ride while I'm
waiting for Jonathan to send me the new ones (only buy/replace in pairs).
Testing is easy - if a screwdriver can be inserted more than about 2-3"
into the larger hole, then the bladder is blown. You can look into the end
of a good one and see the metal center of the bladder being pushed up
against the outlet hole by the several thousand PSI nitrogen still inside.
Take care,
Mike R.

I wouldn't bother pulling accum's... Installing used ones just doesn't
make sense given the COE on new bits.
That aside, you can see pictures of good vs bad accums on my site under
the 89 gray AMG coupe..
