[W126 Coupe] Air intake

I went to the double snorkle on my 85 500 SEC Euro. Can't tell much in the way of throttle response. There is a very slight increase in gas mileage though.

  I was wondering if changing my single snorkle air cleaner on my 500SEC to the 
  double snorkle from the 560SEC is a upgrade worth making. I have heard that it 
  increases throttle response but I am skeptical. Let me know if anyone has tryed
