Hi All, I took a look at the various picnic areas in Memorial Park. I 
think that there are two that would be great. Good tree coverage, picnic 
tables, charcoal pits, rest rooms and parking adjacent to the sites. We 
can not reserve parking but we can try to tape off an area  until we are 
told to remove it.

Willard, please take a look at site U or V on the site plan and see if 
you agree that U is the preferred site because it is not as accessible 
as V and I think we could be more successful in securing parking spaces 
since V is closer to the entrance and I believe would fill up more 
quickly with other park visitors.. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

As I mentioned in a previous e mail please let me know what date is best 
for each of you so we can maximize attendance. The proposed dates are 
Aug, 11th, 18th, or 25th. Both sites are available on all dates at this 
moment. If  you can let us know which date(s) works best over the 
weekend, I can take a check by the parks office next week and we can 
move forward.
