Hi Brad:

MBCoupes archives have a number of postings on repair to the sunroof
starting with the removal of the interior sunroof panel. The manual
offers specific steps but, this posting from the archives may help get
you started. <http://db.mercedes.cx/sec/200110/19/0014.html>

If the water seems more pronounced on the passenger side, then there is
the very remote possibility that you have some rot or serious
obstruction to the (3) drains under the wiper transmission area. This
is also the location for fresh air intake on the passenger side. There
is a small metal dam that allows air in and water to pass by and exit to
either windscreen corner drain. And there is also a center drain that
I've never seen plugged. The wipers, and wiper tray need to be removed
to inspect and clear this area. Before explaining all of this added
work, sunroof first then report back.

Good luck,

Dick
