[W126 Coupe] US or Euro

Hello all,

I have a 1988 560 SEC. Going through complete rebuild. I notice people 
talking about US and Euro MBs. I would assume that means cars made for Europe Vs 
cars made for the US. Is there a difference in the cars themselves? Where do I 
find an article on the differences?
