[W126 Coupe] T bolt on Tranny

 Dick Spellman, I have a not from you from last year about adjusting the transmission with the T on the right side.  I went under and found it and the T comes right out of the red plastic housing it's in , but after turning it 1 detent nothing happens.  I was able to just take the T out and move it 1 click.  Is that all that has to be done?  or do I use the little T wrench to turn it.  Help?
