[W126 Coupe] loose chrome

Hi:

The the rear side coupe window not window chrome fell off.  What is the
best
way to reconnect
without having to go to a bodyshop?

  That piece just snaps on. There a small clips that fit over the body
steel at the edge. The same clips accept the chrome trim piece.

You are talking about the chrome trim that runs horizontally front to back
along the lower edge of the window opening?
