[W126 Coupe] Fuel for a 1984 500SEC (Euro)

I have been using leaded fuel in my 1984 500SEC all these years.
(The handbook says premium fuel with a minimum of 98 ROM / 88 MON - what ever that means...)
It's now getting difficult to get to leaded fuel even in the 3rd world countries!

We have LRP (lead replacement petrol) available for the older cars.
However it is only 93 octane compared to the 95 octane available in unleaded fuel.
(don't be too horrified at the low octane - we are at 6000 ft altitude. We do get 98 octane at sea level.)

Can I use unleaded fuel in my 1984 500SEC?
This particular car was a full import from Germany.
